Founded in 1980, FoodChange provided emergency meals to New York City's hungry children and adults. FoodChange promoted access to nutritious food and adequate income for all New Yorkers and was a leading advocate for improved government policies and programs and one of the city's foremost providers of selected direct service in vital areas. In 2007, FoodChange was acquired by Food Bank for New York City.
