Stacey graduated in May 2001 from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. At Tulane, Stacey established a Tulane Habitat for Humanity chapter and initiated the Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.

Stacey created a visual documentary on the availability of social services and the importance of outreach to the street homeless of the District of Columbia. The video will be used as an educational web tool to recruit, educate, and deepen the commitment of volunteers and the general public.
Policy placement: Workforce Alliance

Stacey created a database of state and local employment, economic, and program data to support the Alliance’s national efforts and field activities on TANF and the Workforce Investment Act. She also established an online clearinghouse of innovative local workforce policy and advocacy information in communities across the country.
