Shephali has experience working with hunger and poverty issues in the U.S. and with community health outreach in Gujarat, India. Shephali holds a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College.

Shephali helped to develop and implement the Arizona Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program by producing outreach tools such as an educational video for Arizona WIC clinics, Senior Centers and Tribal Centers. She also used the data collected during her fieldwork to publish a book promoting local and sustainable food systems utilizing Arizona’s farms.
