Field Placement: International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Washington, DC
Rosa researched setting up a self-sustaining US Committee for IFAD and Rural Poverty with 501(c)3 status that could serve as a replicable model for IFAD outreach in other countries. To this end, she was responsible for liaising with NGOs, foundations and the private sector to build interest in the Committee.
Policy Placement: International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Rome, Italy
Rosa assisted with resource mobilization activities at IFAD’s headquarters office. She was involved in issues of policy, negotiations and outreach to member countries and other funding sources as IFAD entered its seventh replenishment cycle.
Pre-Fellowship Education/Experience:
Rosa holds an MPA with a specialization in international development policy and management from New York University’s Graduate School of Public Service.
