Hailing from Hiawassee, Georgia, Lindsey is a 2009 cum laude graduate of Berea College, with a degree in education studies. Lindsey has served as a Bonner Scholar where she helped organize the annual Hunger Hurts Food Drive, worked at the Berea Community Emergency Food Bank, and served as a leader in numerous service organizations.  Lindsey’s passion for social justice and desire to learn about different cultures led her to volunteer and study abroad in Vietnam, Mexico, and Ghana.
