Jaylah Davis is a native of Muskegon Heights, Michigan, and attends the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, studying Political Science and International Studies. At the University of Michigan, Jaylah is a member of the NAACP, the Black Student Union, and the Barger Leadership Institute. Jaylah is interested in advocacy that focuses on alleviating the economic and health disparities in minority communities both globally and domestically. This summer, she hopes to gain skills that she will be able to use as an advocate for economic justice in her hometown.
