Jacob Ivey

Jacob Ivey is originally from Cleveland, Georgia, and is currently a Senior at Berry College in Rome, Georgia. He is majoring in History and minoring in Business Administration and Art. At Berry, Jacob is a participant in the Bonner Service Scholarship and serves at South Rome Redevelopment, working in economic development and poverty alleviation. Along with Bonner, Jacob works in nonprofit and small business consulting for Viking Strategic Services, and in communications and peer education for the Berry College Student Diversity Initiatives Office. Jacob is interested in municipal policy and community organization that helps to create hunger and poverty-free communities. This summer, Jacob hopes to build upon his understanding of municipal policy to better serve the Rome, Georgia community, and those within it.
