South Shore Community Action Council (SSCAC) works to alleviate poverty, create opportunities, and increase the financial stability for low-income people so that every member of their communities - regardless of income - can live with dignity, reach their fullest potential, and enjoy all that is wonderful about life on the South Shore. SSCAC collaborates with hundreds of community partners to provide a range of programs to meet household needs, including childcare, transportation, housing and utility assistance, food and nutrition. Each year, SSCAC serves over 25,000 people from more than 80 communities from Hull to the South Coast, to Cape Cod and the Islands.
