The Congressional Hunger Center is pleased to announce it has selected PepsiCo and the PepsiCo Foundation as this year’s Corporate Partner Hunger Leadership Awardee.
This award is presented each year to a leader in the private sector making substantial contributions to end food insecurity in the U.S. and around the world.
PepsiCo’s philanthropic focus on food security and economic opportunity reflects their mission of “feeding potential.” Since 2009, the foundation’s Food for Good program has delivered more than 75 million meals to children and families in the U.S. Beyond providing meals, PepsiCo’s work includes improving agriculture and livelihoods, providing nutrition and wellness training, promoting employee volunteerism, and investing in supporting new leaders focused on serving their communities, reflecting the Hunger Center’s core mission of developing, inspiring, and connecting leaders in the movement to end hunger. PepsiCo has also been a valued partner of the Hunger Center for more than a decade and has sponsored the placements of several Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellows.
“At PepsiCo, we believe our greatest impact comes from combining our scale, capabilities and partnerships to support the communities we serve,” said Andrea Moribe, Director of Food for Good, PepsiCo Foundation. “Through the PepsiCo Foundation’s Food for Good program, we’re addressing systemic barriers to nutritious food by closing gaps in accessibility, availability and affordability—reimagining corporate philanthropy to build sustainable, community-centered solutions that help families thrive.”
PepsiCo will accept the award at the 2025 Hunger Leadership Awards, our annual celebration bringing together leaders from government, philanthropy, the private sector, and the wider anti-hunger community to recognize distinguished leaders whose vision and commitment are building the momentum to achieve zero hunger in the U.S. and around the world.
