Amazon to Receive Corporate Partner Award

Awards, Updates

We are pleased to announce that Amazon will receive the 2026 Corporate Partner Hunger Leadership Award. The Corporate Partner Hunger Leadership Award is presented each year to an organization from the private sector making substantial contributions to end food insecurity.

Amazon’s leverage of its logistics and supply chain networks has been transformative for food access in rural and urban areas. Through philanthropic partnerships with food banks and other anti-hunger organizations, Amazon uses its extensive transportation network to deliver millions of meals to families in need. Amazon was also one of the first online retailers to launch SNAP EBT, which it has since made available nationwide, further expanding food access. Most recently, Amazon introduced its Amazon Access shopping hub, which offers discounted groceries and grocery delivery service, as well as additional incentives for people using federal nutrition benefits like SNAP.

Nancy Dalton, Global Director of Amazon Experiences and Upskilling, will accept the award on behalf of Amazon. Nancy has more than 25 years of experience in financial services, marketing, program management, and executive leadership.

The Hunger Center will recognize Amazon, along with our other award recipients, at the 2026 Hunger Leadership Awards, to be held on June 24 in Washington, D.C. Our annual celebration brings together leaders from government, philanthropy, the private sector, and the wider anti-hunger community to recognize distinguished leaders whose vision and commitment are building the momentum to achieve zero hunger in the U.S. and around the world.

Special thanks to the sponsors of the 2026 Hunger Leadership Awards
