Corey graduated with honors from Yale University in 2016 with a BA in Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies. While at Yale, Corey worked as a Project Coordinator, managing 50 undergraduates working to end sexual violence through education workshops on consent for 3,000 Yale students. Corey developed her passion for food access as Yale’s Director of Food Recovery, where she coordinated the daily collection of leftover food from Yale’s 12 dining halls to be delivered to soup kitchens in the New Haven area. Additionally, she coordinated student volunteers and worked at a food pantry with local veterans in order to bring fresh and healthy foods to New Haven residents.
