Matt graduated from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania with a double degree in Theatre Arts and English. He served as the Homelessness and Housing Program Coordinator and the Hunger and Health Program Coordinator at Gettysburg. He has also participated in the National Student Campaign Against Hunger and Homelessness (NSCAHH).
